One of the first posts on my blog was on the work of Andreas Tschurilow (1962-2013) who proved that Pompeii was destroyed following an eruption of the Vesuvius in 1631 (and not in 79 as wanted by standard history). In my ancient collection I found back the photographs of etchings of the years 1630 showing the Vesuvius.
This is “Status Montis Vesuvis ante ultimum Incendium”, “the situation of Mount Vesuvius before the last fire”. On the right, Pompeii and Herculaneum are clearly visible.
And this is “Status Montis Vesuvi post ultimum Incendium”, “the situation of Mount Vesuvius after the last fire”. Not only Pompeii and Herculaneum, but also five or six other centres have been touched. Curiously, the perpetrator of this disaster, “God”, is wearing the garments of a bishop.
Pompeii is not a falsification. The falsification is in the interpretation. Walking around in the ruins of Pompeii, you have a mindblowing view of a Roman Italian city in the 17th century. ( https://jefdemolder.blogspot.com/2018/09/pompeii-destroyed-in-1631.html )
